May I say here (only a few months after everyone stopped talking) that I have a sort of DW Crossover recs site here: lostspook.wordpress.com/Having long been of the opinion that there is nothing you can't cross DW with. (I mean, the TARDIS lands in X show and... Isn't DW marvellous?) Lots of these wonderful writers have proved me absolutely right. (Oh, and the Blackadder one is probably the best DW crossover ever anywhere. Really. Especially Baldrick, but basically, as long as you have a sense of humour, that's all you need to follow it.)

Doctor Who/X-files [Love to see Mulder's reaction] Doctor Who/Pirates of the Caribbean Doctor Who/Stargate Your wish is my command!! I collect recs for DW crosses - have quite a few of the above, although not nearly as many X-Files as I'd like (and I think I haven't posted all of them yet - I'll make the other X-Files tale today's post, for you!!) It's just to make them easier to find, provided they're not adult rated and have decent spelling etc! Try here: lostspook.wordpress.com/(Just click on the show you like down the side). There's LOADS of Stargate ones. Oh, and, looking up the thread, I found a DW/Monty Python cross - follow the link above for the Dead Master Sketch!!) ;D (It's not that I get anything from it; I just thought it'd be handy to try and make stories like that easier to find).

YAY! I always fancied a Doctor Who appearance in the Simpsons, but that's just me.... I believe that's been done. ;D Anyone who knows, care to say what episode it was? I have no idea, but I know there was an appearance from Four somewhere along the line.

He's one of the representatives of television. Comicbook Guy makes various Doctor Who references on occasion too...

INteresting - I'll have to investigate that, too. (Sorry, we posted at pretty much the same time last night & I missed this). It can feel a bit weird -- like exploring the ruins of a lost civilisation. In this case, the civilisation is Who-fandom when there wasn't so much as a glimmer of a new series, and when adwc was the place to post your fanfic. Also, the crossovers list doesn't distinguish between This Time Round stories and conventional Whoniverse ones, which can lead to a few moments of pure bafflement. I think that's how I discovered the Round in the first place (when the archive was actually live).

Okay, backpedalling a little but here since I only just came on, love the Jeeves and Wooster/Doctor Who things! Seriously JJ, just..... Great, fantastic, excellent, Geronimo! Love the idea of Doctor Who/Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, few stories here m.fanfiction.net/Doctor-Who-and-Hitchhiker-s-Guide-to-the-Galaxy-Crossovers/21/125/ . I have also since I last came on become just as enthusiastic about Sherlock as Doctor Who, so, Wholock! Wholock all the way! I want John and Amy to meet and sympathise about what it's like living with insane people who make you run all the time..... Seriously, there's a ridiculous amount of running involved....
