doctorwhospoilers.com/2011/Newton, I think that theory is a bit less crack-y than you think! guys about the above ** what say we? I think so far as sci fi cliffhangers go this one seems to be a bit lacklustre, they're going to have to add some really clever twist in order to appease this whovian, what say you?**

** Well, he's been beaten, tortured, burned, poisoned, exploded, drowned ... &c. I suppose freezing's got to be in there somewhere, although you're right, it's a bit lacking in the originality department. If it is part of the cliffhanger, I'm crossing my fingers for some remarkable twist, like you said, or perhaps we'll all simply get ice lollies out of the deal. **

Now all I can think of is bowtie-flavoured popsicles... or maybe fish and custard? ^ These should NOT be my first thoughts on the matter.

** If they do this, and River says "I love you" and he says "I know" I will NOT be amused.
Also, what's up with all the talk of the Cybermen being in every episode? I really can't see Moffat doing that. **

Agreed and agreed LL.
In other news, there's a clip making the rounds that shows 1. Craig with a baby and 2. Eleven wearing a new jacket/coat (the length is indeterminable from the clip) which is NOT tweed and appears to be green with gold buttons.
Oh, and did I mention the cybermat?
Discuss.**

doctorwhospoilers.com/2011/above is a link to what CP is discussing. A new coat (which I LOVE) and a JOB!!! So does the Doctor get stuck outside the TARDIS with Craig again? I love how Eleven said "I could come back" and Craig replied "But you won't, I know you" and now he IS!!! I'm so so so happy that key isn't lost in a drawer somewhere.
So far, it's five episodes with Cybermen according to every verifiable source I've seen (i.e. sources that post pictures of filming or comments of those viewing filming alongside directorial comments). As far as whether Moffat would do that, well, lemme say two things on this matter: first, I guess that must mean they are part of the Silents. Second, well frankly, The Empty Child Moffat would NOT but The Big Bang Moffat sooooo would.
On a sidenote, I think when you consider our theory (the replacement doctor) and the theory I had regarding The House (the enemy in Neil's episode) and the shared fan outrage regarding the Doctor's failure to blink upon discovering a species attempting to make a TARDIS (that failed) that ATE PEOPLE (in The Lodger) the way these theories that were crack a few months ago have begun to substantiate themselves, I'm really rather worried for our current Team TARDIS (and further worried that they are forgetting River's ending which MUST set her path as it happened already). I'd like to have a thread were we could plot this all out and see whether we are to be justified or horrified in series 6.
Can we get a plotting thread? Would you guys participate?

Oh! Yes! Count me in on this spoiler/crack/plotting thread (all in white obviously). And then we can unwhite it at series end and find out how much they got right.
Of course, my record on this stuff isn't very good as you all know... because I tend to think everyone in sight is a Time Lord or Romana.

you have to scroll to about mid-page but there's a general spoiler round up and it's a good start i think io9.com/#!5779207/gary-oldman-says-this-might-be-the-best-batman-movie-yet-plus-why-iron-man-3-might-be-like-a-tom-clancy-story ** after the what-looks-like-goodbye set photos of Amy n Rory it seems ominous that episode thirteen is AnR-lite

doctorwhospoilers.com/2011/2010/09/the-big-book-teases-series-six/that's a link to the teasers that may or may not be true (from The Brilliant Book of Doctor Who) I thought we might to check things off as they occur ** (for instance some lies are too big for psychic paper)** and mark others as half true or true if... I didn't know whether to make another thread or just do it here.

*Fresh back from a mission to the Impossible Planet?? ;D
No, probably not...
So that's where the chap in the spacesuit from the S6 trailer comes into it, presumably. If we can now just work out where the cavaliers and Nazis figure into the whole thing...
I hope this opening story is good. Well, of course I do, but space race-related stuff and the whole Area 51/period UFO conspiracies angle and America in the 60s and so on and so forth are all elements that tick boxes on my big tick-boxy list of Things I Think Are Kewl. So, I hope they do justice to the setting and don't make a hash of it, I mean.*

Also, good news** Daisy Haggard** has been spotted on set for ** episode 12**, for those who don't remember **she** plays **Sophie** so it looks like that character will be returning in spite of the bits of dialogue overheard yesterday at filming, yay for that!

BAD MOD! BAD MOD! ;D ;D ;D
Though in other spoiler news
I've just seen pictures of Eleven's new costume and the coat IS PAST HIS KNEES. We have a hero coat REPEAT we have a long flappy hero coat. Also, it's kind of a drab olive green.
...I think I prefer the tweed to be honest.
But he IS wearing a cowboy hat with it so, uh... that's something.

*Is it like one of those long cowboy coats, whatever they're called? As you say, though, the main thing is the hat... ;D*

A prequel?? Interesting... And no, no iPlayer for you over there! No, it's mine! ;D On a related, and SPOILERY note - I was linked to this via Livejournal. It looks like potentially a HUGE SPOILER, or a SPOILER at any rate, and is quite frankly terrifying. Some people have said they think it's fake, but even if it's fake it's still terrifying: www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGivQ6eVfsQWhat the...??
