Ok, so it suppose to be some sort of foreword from the Specials Box Set by David Tennant. It's pretty bad, I didn't finish it. The point is, David Tennant shouldn't write fanfics.... or stories for the show, never ever.

Aaaa! That is cute. Pretty awful writing, but cute.
I second your "Adorkable", LL. ^_^

I read that on lj and couldn't stop giggling. Does is count as author-insertion if you actually are the main character? lol. It's so meta and adorkable.

I think it's terribly sweet and makes me feel sorry for the little boy that becomes DT, how much sadness and the like must he have gone through if he is writing fics in which he saves himself?

That's... Just when I want to think "we've got shut of Ten, bring on Eleven," Tennant goes proving yet again why we'll not see his likes again...

I think that's a brilliant bit of work. Sure, the writing is only okay but it's so in his voice. No one could write DT better than himself. I can't wait for the boxset to hit store in the States.

Yeah, I definitely see it as something of an homage to him, I mean JJ was practically a puddle of vibrating fangoo waiting for eleven and now he misses DT again

But then, I live in a house where approximately 80-90% of all communications are made out of sarcasm. Our sense of humor, it is strange and never ending...

I find sarcasm works better in the verbal sense than written. I personally don't get the humor, but if someone wants to explain it to me, I'd liked to know what the humor in the statement.

I'm just not cut out for a career in comedy, it seems... :.(
I think what I meant was that just when I'm going through one of my periodic down-on-Ten phases and fervently hoping Eleven really does herald that new dawn some fans are perhaps naively anticipating (while others think it's the end of the world - insert comments about all of the people all of the time), Tennant goes and reminds me why we have been so lucky in many ways to have him playing the Doctor and why even the greatest replacement actor won't have that deep love of the show and its history and, yeah...good for you, Davy Tennant, hope you come back for that 50th anniversary multi-Doctor story, even if it's just you, the boy Matt and McGann (or just you and the boy Matt), assuming NuWho's still going in 2013 and they're not up to Twelve by then... ;D

I got the compliment, JJ. I don't see how anyone could get something negative out if it.

Oh, well, each to their own.

I think the story is cute myself, and it's not that bad; I've seen worse from fanfic. It's kind of amusing that he would give it a go . . .
