Has anyone listen to these? I found a whole bunch of them and I do want to have a listen to do them. However, I have a large list of things to download and I am on a limit, so they are just going to have to wait. Though it has been something I have really wanted to listen to for a long while.
I do have one problem. Why does Yates has his own audio play but not Benton? Really? BBC HAS MADE BENTON AN OFFICIAL COMPANION, GIVE HIM HIS OWN AUDIO PLAY!
There will be 13 new stories coming out in 2010, i better see a Benton story.

I hadn't even heard of them, but I love the idea of his getting to do some audios - I would be very happy with that!

The Companion Chronicle are just really stories based on well the Companions. Each story is about on one Companion and their point of view. Even if one story is based mostly on, lets say Yates, Jo Grant is also in it. From what I have read, the doctors have little to no role in the stories, maybe a mention, but nothing more.

I never believed he was really just sitting around selling used cars - it was obviously a front for his REAL job, which would have been far more adventurous.

"The Companion Chronicles "talking books" are each narrated by one of the Doctor's companions and feature a second, guest-star voice along with music and sound effects." See, that is what Wikipedia says.
Oh, but some of these stories are based while on travels with the doctor. So there could easily be a Benton story somewhere.

I think it's because Benton's actor moved to the states and the plays are produced in the UK. However, if you want to watch some Benton-based awesomeness, he's got several short films on his website which he made with various kids from the a local elementary school. They're kind of the most adorable thing ever.

Well... that does explain why he wouldn't have his own story. However, I am sure they could easily kidnap him for a few days if he visits London.

Maybe we should pass the hat 'round the fandom and buy him a nice vacation over thataway on the condition he records us nice audios the entire time.

Now, now, he needs to have at least half hour lunches ever five hours and two ten minute bathroom breaks. I like this idea. I wonder if I could start a petition.

Or even better, if they really are making a new series of SJA, I DEMAND a Benton guest-appearance. I don't care if he's in the US, I DEMAND that the BBC make it so!

I just read on his forum that he couldn't get work because he was in the usa, but he was looking into it. He also did something new this year.
