I was thinking this sort of hat: But yes, I wouldn't mix cake and Slitheen myself. That recipe for Slitheen soup in Boom Town on the other hand, sounds delicious. ;D Hey, Clocket - don't hog the brainbleach - pass that bottle over here!

My thanks to everyone who's commented on my piece of nonsense. I'm rather amazed that it's got more reviews on Teaspoon than anything else I've written! All you need is cake?

Oh wow... *pokes brain*
You bringing that back up... it was like my plotbunny was an embryo and now has burst unceremoniously from your womb.
Okay. That sounded really wrong. What I mean is, a oneshot has just been brought into the world. Thankyou, Prim! I'll be off to Teaspoon, then... 0_0

o-0 Uh. Yeah....
I'll assume your powers of literary descriptives will somehow overcome that odd spasm and the resulting tale will exceed all expectations. Whatever those are, lol... Do we have expectations for cakefic?
And JJ, I totally want one of those hats. I hereby appoint you our fashion counselor. Of course, we're a group that thinks ridiculously tall collars decorated with glitter and rickrack and paired with a coordinating bathrobe are cool, so it shouldn't be too pressing of a job.

Oh my goodness - Five and carrot cake?!! If it involves Tegan walking in at the wrong moment and having a lot to say on the subject I shall put it in the series no matter what the criteria. I shall have to go off and examine Teaspoon closely. EVelyn, please that it also has him having to explain it to Tegan. If possible, Turlough also, so that there is as much smirking and awkwardness as possible.
*examines the new outfits* Excuse me, when did we decide on the silly hats for those who wrote 'classic' cake fic? I'm sorry, but I refuse. It's not like I don#t have to dress up as stupid things for work at least once a year as it is. And *evil laugh* I have the series.
*coughs* Where was I?
Actually, shouldn't Six have carrot cake? Specially made by Mel as a healthier option than Dr Smythe's chocolate cake?

WHAT??!! How did they - ??!! Waking or sleeping, you can never escape us, JJ. [adjusts raven on head, to give it that merest shade of a tilt that makes all the difference.]

You know, there are times when I worry about the number of villains who hang out around here. (And, of courese, the obligatory line, altogether now: "I should like a hat like that!")

Excuse me, when did we decide on the silly hats for those who wrote 'classic' cake fic? When did "we" decide?! "We" didn't. When did the universe become a democracy? I am the Master and you will obey me and wear a funny hat......!!! I get the feeling that some of the younger humans here are not aware of Monty Python, and the dreaded and unexpected Spanish Inquisition, the sight of which won me over and altered me fundamentally forever.

Yes, do as Magnus says, not as he does! ;D "Our chief weapon is surprise! Surprise and fear! Fear and surprise! Our two weapons..." You know, there are times when I worry about the number of villains who hang out around here. Oh, you say that, but I bet in the end it turns out you're really, I don't know, Davros or something! ;D (And, of courese, the obligatory line, altogether now: "I should like a hat like that!") LOL, yes indeed. Ad-libbed by Troughton as well, according to legend. The hat I really wanted to find a picture of was Skagra's remarkable one in the never-finished TV version of Shada, but I couldn't. Now, that's a hat any orthodox cake-ian would be proud to wear. ;D

Well, if the Flying Spaghetti Monster people can do it, why not us? You must bring us . . . a shrubbery!

You must bring us . . . a shrubbery! are you sure you only want one? It'll be a lot more trouble if you decide you want a second one while we're away getting the first one... We should all emulate Cardinal Biggles (in jjpor's photo above, on left), and wear the pilot's goggle hat, or whatever they were called...

Firstly, the Master's schemes always fail, therefore I won't bother to wear a silly hat. Secondly, it is always possible that I am a villain, too (although I shall have to give it a think and, er, as jj now knows, am certainly bossy and interfering if nothing else ) but certainly not Davros. And if I was I would argue the point about the Master being in charge of the universe with some violence. And definitely not wear a silly hat because it wouldn't go with the third eye. If we all have to be a villain, I suppose I could be the Meddling Monk, because he's fun, he likes history and he wanted King Harold to win the Battle of Hastings. He doesn't wear a hat, although he's thin on top... I don't think I'm cut out for being a proper villain. Thirdly, since I once had to be Kipper the dog, I have worn a gigantic dog's head on my head. I think I win the silly hat contest. Maybe. Although yours is silly Clocket! (We made Shakespeare wear that same hat for years in our library, plus a pair of sunglasses. A bust of Shakespeare, I hasten to add.) I do know about the Spanish Inquisition, but nobody ever expects them! (Tho' my knowledge of Monty Python comes via endless, endless clips rather than actual watching, because as a result, you find you've seen all the good bits twenty times and the other bits are just ... er... what was that? But maybe I need to try again?? But I am able to follow refs to dead parrots, lumberjacks and so on with ease. And my parents used to demonstrate the ministry of Silly Walks for us on a scarily regular basis. Did I mention my whole family are mad? ;D)

Okay, Clocket wins...but until she pulled that out of her locker, I was leaning towards the pilot's goggle-hat (which is as good a name for it as any ;D)...
No, Davros is far too miserable and bitter ever to wear a silly hat... Nobody would want to be Davros. Maybe you're the Delgado!Master to my Ainley!Master, lostspook... ;D

... I actually own this hat. Or rather, my room mate does. Or one of us... it's complicated. Ultimate cake hat though? Do I win? That hat is a real conversation starter. The Master (and some of us may be Masters) would have some trouble hypnotizing in that hat though-- he'd have to keep saying, hey, eyes down here, mister! Look me in the eye when I'm hypnotizing you! Unless it's a Batman Mad Hatter hat where hypnotizing eyes pop out of the hat. Imagine being hypnotized by the Master and a hypnotic cake hat simultaneously....

Does the hat have a little voice recording in it that says "You will obey me"?
You all are terribly inspirational. Still hard at work on the exploding multi-doctor cake adventure... It kinda went multichapter on me, so it'll be in the works for a while now.
In the meantime, however - JJ's fantastic Gallifreyan hat has sparked an actual desire to make a costume for this Halloween. I went diving in my neighbors' recycling for cardboard and am making one of those monstrous headdresses from cereal boxes and duct tape. It looks splendid in a sort of cheap, who-designed-this-abomination sort of way. ;D
No hypnotizing eyeballs nor cake, though. Sad day.
