By cake, I mean this: www.whofic.com/viewstory.php?sid=32559 If you all are really that insane, there must be something good going on here! ;D Uh,right, about me...I'm a Who fan from America. I've only been in the fandom since last December or so, but I'm loving every minute of it. My Doctors are Ten and Six, follow by a three way tie of Five, Eight, and Four. Also could someone please explain why Eleven has no eyebrows? O.o

Also could someone please explain why Eleven has no eyebrows? O.o That's something I've been wanting to know the answer to myself! As for the cake, I'm still falling over my feet that JJ actually wrote it. *big silly grin* You should be warned in advance, that you should be very, very carefully about using the 'c' word in this forum. ;D ;D ;D I'm getting ahead of myself: Welcome! I am, as my username says, Clocketpatch, though most tend to shorten it to Clocket. My Doctor is Nine since he's the one who got me into this mess. After that it's Seven and Three fighting out an endless duel for favourite status. The rest all sort of fall into line behind in no particular order. I love them all. Well, I say all, I used to dislike Ten, rather, but he's chosen a rather inopportune time to start growing on me, and by this rate I'll be sobbing my eyes out by the finale. Anyways, welcome! We're all mad here, mostly.

Hey there and welcome! - and yes, poor JJ really did get roped into writing the cake story, it will live on in infamy forev...well, until his next story at least! ;-D
I'm Primsong or Prim, and I'm a pretty solid Three-fan, but Two and Seven and occasionally One will often join the melee for the crown, though every one of them has something to love about them, even Six who really wasn't that bad once you get past the coat and the companion.
Very pleased to have you, lots of writers and creative folks here, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Well, welcome to the boards! You may be my first recruit to DbyA, as it were; it's normally Clocket who people seem to follow in here, for some reason. I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself here and that they'll all make you feel at home, for they are, as I keep telling newcomers, a friendly bunch. And they don't even talk about naked!Ten and cake all the time either.
I'm from Liverpool in the UK; Seven is "my" Doctor; Seven and Ace are "my" Doctor-companion tag team of choice. Although, I have to warn you, if I start randomly squeeing about Four and Romana, well...I have a habit of doing that too. Don't be alarmed! ;D

I am Newton and I am the one who started the whole ten in cake deal. I am also the person who wouldn't stop begging JJ to write the fan fiction. What a great birthday gift. I am Newton, you mod.... wait, no, your admin now. I am have no favourite, though ten has a soft spot since he got me into the show. I am here more for social reasons than doctor who reasons since i don't get 70% of the conversations that go on here.

I am Newton and I am the one who started the whole ten in cake deal. I beg to differ there Newton. It was, in fact, my silly typo that started this all... and Prim who had the guts to point out said silly typos... and I think Merry was the one to add in the chains. But you were the one who persevered and got fic out of JJ. And for that I love you. Happy Birthday btw. *throws confetti* ...will you be having cake?

Nah, it's okay, it really was a group effort. And we should save them. I was thinking of saving that one too. I should have. It was amazing.
It always is when random Doctors show up. LOL

Welcome to the best little Doctor Who forum in existance ulalume42. (JJ did a Clocket, with CAKE!) I'm LibraryLover, or LL for short. My favorite Doctors are Ten, Nine and Four, but I really like all of them for different reasons. I'm from the US, and started watching with NuWho, but have been catching up on classic Who. Enjoy the boards and the chat box . . . it isn't all cake discussions, but it's usually interesting!

Clocket, Newton, shhhhhhhhhhh, you are going to ruin my cover!!! *sheepish* I've a vague memory of adding the chains...I swear it was an accident though.
Ulalume42 (most awesome name just btw). As everyone here has mentioned already we are a whacky wonderful little group that manages to be close-knit without being exclusive (pats DbAers on the back good job, mates!).
My first Doctor was four and he left a large floppy bohemian-sized hole (as well as a bunch of jelly babies now gone to rot) in my impressionable young mind, as such he remains the apex of Doctors, though not my favourite since I refuse to pick one, the Doctor's a bit like a potato chip, yes? Who wants just one? My other stand-outs are Five, Seven and Ten, though I even like Six (who REALLY gets a rough go of it fandom wise).
Companions are a given (I think hahaha don't we all find ourselves to be absolutely correct), I adore Ace and Donna. I much prefer Romana 1 to Romana 2 (Romana one was smart then sexy weeeell aside from everytime she deferred to the Doctor (or fell down or the like and needed rescuing) Romana Two was all squee I'm cute and fun and oh don't be afraid gents, also smart but don't let that turn you off I'm BLONDE!) I'm a rare one that likes Tegan ( I suppose not that rare but meh) and am shall we say not quite a fan of Martha. Anyway, that's my fandom in a nutshell, I am certain I shall expound on it til you are in tears (laughter or boredom your choice though I'd pick laughter, mind) can't wait to see you about the boards!

I miss most of the cbox (darn planet is too big) but it doesn't stop me from enjoying the fallout. My own ten-three-chains-cake-master story is now several pages long... yes, an actual story. oh dear.

I think I came in about three quarters of the way through that one, and was thinking; oh, cake, that's nice...and then I realised they were talking about "cake"... Don't fight over who started the whole thing off; you're all equally to blame! ;D And a full story-length version, Prim? I find that, well, intriguing...

Does everybody have to write a Three-Ten-chains-Master-cake story here? Is it obligatory?
Why didn't somebody warn me?
PS. What's with liking Tegan being rare? That's shocking.

Does everybody have to write a Three-Ten-chains-Master-cake story here? Is it obligatory? I've already paid my dues on that fronts, albeit, not intentionally. But the words "He’s apparently naked under the cakes" were proudly typo'd and published on the Teaspoon by your truly. Head!desk. Thank you Prim for pointing that one out.... Why didn't somebody warn me? Where would be the fun in that? PS. What's with liking Tegan being rare? That's shocking. Given the amount of shippy Five/Tegan stories on the 'spoon, I don't think it's rare. Or, at least, shipping them isn't rare...

Does everybody have to write a Three-Ten-chains-Master-cake story here? Is it obligatory? Yes. Well, since about Tuesday, anyway. And I agree regarding Tegan; I like her mouthiness and her relationship with FIve. Mind you, I admire Turlough precisely for his weasellyness and not for the redeeming characteristics people often claim he has, so I may not be the best person to ask on this point.

Hey, welcome. That is an excellent recruitment tactic. Who wouldn't be swayed by that fic?
I'm kind of on the fence about Tegan, she was an interesting companion and in some ways the precursor to Donna, but the way she was always whining about not wanting to be there was annoying. But an improvement over Nyssa (who had no personality) and Adric (I don't think I need to go into him...although I don't dislike him as much as some people do).

Why thank you, p. I'm afraid if I manage a story it'll probably end up being brooding, angsty cake.

Why thank you, p. I'm afraid if I manage a story it'll probably end up being brooding, angsty cake. I ADORE the idea of brooding, angsty cake. It must be written! BA Cake: "It's all right for you, but here am I, the most exceptional cake in the universe, baked to perfection by the Master, only to end up slathered all over your feeble - and overly naked - body! Ah, it is a sure sign of the deeply twisted, dark and ironic nature of the universe." Ten: "What's wrong with being slathered all over my body? And, all right, I take your point, but is it all that much better than being eaten?" BA Cake: *sobs* Three: "My dear fellow, will you stop upsetting that unfortunate Victoria sponge? It has enough problems as it is." BA Cake: "I do! It is my unlucky lot in life!" Ten: "Now, look what you've done - you've set it off agan. It'll be quoting Sartre next." Three: "I'm sure it'd be preferable to listening to you." You see? How can that not get written? *suddenly finds that shred of sanity left here and runs, whistling, innocently*
