Aw, but Nine is awesomesauce. Give him a chance, he grows on you, and then you slowly find yourself being increasingly attracted to him *coughs*
er...
Welcome to the forum! This is a nice cozy Who-y place with loads of different opinions and love for different Doctors all the way from One to the yet-unknown Eleventh. Feel free to dive into any threads/discussions/games/c-box conversations you like.
We're all a bit mad here, but it's the good kind of mad mostly.
Except for JJ. He's currently possessed by the Master. Watch out for him.

thanks. well it's not that i didn't really like him as the doctor. i don't like the actor. i have never seen him in a good and nice role. him as the doctor was okay i guess but he was like stuck-up and whatever like he didn't like playing the doctor, which explains to why he dropped out and david tennant took over. *drools*

CE does play the bad boy more often than not doesn't he? *wicked grin* Maybe I just like the bad guys... often they're more interesting. Though, I wouldn't say he's stuck-up, just a different sort of actor. He asked for the part, and as I understand it he left because he was having some sort of health problems due to the shooting schedule; can't blame a man for that. Though, I do wish he'd stuck around for another season or so, I miss his daft old face. Especially since he was the one to get me into this whole thing in the first place. But like you said, we got DT out of it, and though I'm occasionally his biggest anti-fan, I kind of love him deep down as well, and as we get closer to the inevitable my inner fangirl is taking the opportunity to her her way out and SQUEEEE in a most terrifing manner.

Yeah Christopher E. (can't spell last name) does do a lot of badboy movies and shows. I liked him in Gone in Sixty Seconds and 28 Days Later... but that is about it really.

You should watch him in Othello. *thud* Granted he plays Iago, who is not exactly the nicest character on the books, but you understand his motivation and feel sort of sorry for him, and his rants are so terribly amusing. www.youtube.com/watch?v=TmYNwvxzSb0(okay, I'll admit it, my main reason for liking that movie is its high percentage of nuddy scenes *coughs* *looks around nervously* what?) --- anyway, on to a different and perhaps less flustering subject *fans self* have you had the chance to see any Classic Who yet? Or, barring that, what's your favourite NuWho episode?

I don't even know where to find any of the other doctor who seasons from back then. ... might be able to help you there *wink wink* if you want links pm most anyone... Oh, and I think the group is watching the TV movie this weekend, which is a good place to start because it's modern and slick and very like the new series (and because Eight is just plain dishy wandering about in his sheet)

It's what happens when, during the mid-90s, Fox tries to make Doctor Who, and they film it in Canada, and then the DVD is released in the UK... I do not pretend to understand. However, the end result is highly entertaining. I can give it no better endorsement than: www.youtube.com/watch?v=S9BqnxGp4HA&feature=channel_pageEight is so cuddly. *huggles him*

Really? hmmm... guess I can see that, what with crazy head-thrashing Master and all. It's fun once you get into it though. I started watching when I was 17 too, incidentally, and now four years gone it seems like forever ago.

Welcome to the best little Doctor Who forum going!
Please check the Announcements folder for information on Doctor Who Live. We watch episodes online together every Saturday, and chat about them. As Clocket said, this week we are watching the TV movie, plus one other episode.
As for the fangirl thing . . . life is short. Indulge your inner fangirl/fanboy. Or to re-write a common saying - Squee the Day!

Hullo! Welcome to the boards! I'm rather new still, myself, but I enjoy popping in when I can; glad to have you. Good Old Who fans are hard to find, so if you ever want to chat about that, you've come to the right place.
