I noticed this afternoon that my Karma rating has now risen to 9. Can anyone explain why this is as I think I understand what this means but I'm not sure. Thanks

For you, Karma is nothing. But my karma ran over your dogma.

People are giving you karma 'cos... well, they think you deserve it! Karma is given if someone does a good deed or something extra-special. In one of my old forums, people gave karma as a sort of payment for graphics such as avatars or signatures.

Karma is just showing if people like you or not. Its not for anything really special, though I can make it something like that. I randomly exalt people, and I avoid the smite thing. I should probably change the words to be more Who-y. Or I could use pictures. If anyone has some or something.

Exalt gives karma, though.

I'm not sure hoiw to quote so
"I randomly exalt people, and I avoid the smite thing. I should probably change the words to be more Who-y. Or I could use pictures. If anyone has some or something."
Well what about Regenerate for Karma and Exterminate for smite?

Oh, that's a good idea! To quote put 'quote' in square brackets before your quote and '/quote' in square brackets at the end.

You could also use the QUOTE button in the top right of any post.

ah, so its the same as timelord then....Ok. Thanks. as you can see from my intro thread i've figured it out. Erm..what do the stars mean? and how do you earn them?

The stars are your 'ranking'. They just kind of say how long you've been on the site. The more stars, the more posts. You earn them by posting, but if you post and delete a bunch of times to raise it, I can ban you I don't expect you to do that, but it is cheating, and ruins the fun.
