OI! Holy heck, the last four weeks have been absolute well it rhymes with well, and bell, and sell and fell. All four kids ended up in the hospital with pneumonia and just when we thought everything was fine the baby decided to have the scariest relapse ever, he was on Oxygen and heart monitors for nearly a week!
But now we have been home for five days (IN A ROW!!!!) and everyone really does seem to be better, i'll be a bit spotty this next week as tis Nyah's last week of school and I am volunteering at their field day and school picnic, however I am fairly confident in this being an actual return, and my golly you lot fill me in!!
I must have missed tons of things! I am certain I missed June's MotM so who is it? And what of the spoilers or theories, anything new? And what of all of you? Any news? Did JJ give up his weekend habit? Did LL write something new? Does Clocket like her new job? How are Newton's birds? Is Magnus feeling any better? Foreman have any spiffy links? Did GB come around to hating Martha? Has Star made Prim anymore lovely DW dolls? Has Abby convinced NASA to go to Mars, NOW? Has TimeywimeyDing further explored classic who? Have I missed anyone? If so chalk it up to stress and a long time away.

Oh noes! But everyone is okay now right? Right? I can't even begin to imagine how stressful/ terrifying that must have been for you.
*Sends hugs, and flowers, and soup, and chocolate, and love*
As for news? We have two new members, LibrarayLover and Poery, not sure if you've met them. Newton had to give up DWlive due to internet bills but LibraryLover has taken over and we're now using a new site (but they can tell you more about that because my internet conked and I couldn't take part in the trail run). I'm very much enjoying my new job, though I've got to watch or I might end up with carpal tunnel from all the typing, this week I was just manning the lemonade stand for the university's convocation ceremony though, so that was okay (even if the ceremony went over time and I ended up working a ten hour shift). So... that's all I can think of off the top of mine.

Aw, you remembered my birds. My baby owls are doing very well and are super cute. There is one that keeps trying to escape the nest though. Well, he climbs to the hole and then just ha alook around. They are just so fluffy and cute. *SQUEEE*
I did give up DWL. HOWEVER, I did learn last night it has been mostly the birds for the reason for Bell to charge us extra. Plus my extra, DWL, and other livestreaming that I tend to do alot. In march/april, with bird watching, downloading and DWL i used 92 GB. o.o
HOLY CRAP MERRY. HOW DID YOU LIVE? If I had what your kids had, my mom would have had a heart attack from stress.

Holy cow - I just....boggle....at the thought of ALL FOUR sick at once, and in such a scary way! Good God, talk about something to tell them all about when they're older and think they're having a bad week. 0_0 Glad to hear y'all are getting better at this point - hold that thought!
Over here poor Starflower (and Evelyn) are stressed out over end-of-year testing, but one more week and this schoolyear is over at last - Evelyn is graduating from her two-year college and heading to another college in the city this next autumn, all while we're also putting together a wedding for her friend who lives with us, being the surrogate 'bride's family' - yoiks! Busy times.
I'm hoping this summer Starflower can finally start in on making a Jo for me, she has the material set aside for her. Three looks very lonely without her. If she gets Jo done, the Brig is next in line. :-D Maybe we can give him a removable mustache and eyepatch accessories.
I would love to see a picture of Newton's owls, btw... hint hint, N.

Well, if you can survive all of the kids having pneumonia and being hospitalized at the same time you know you can survive anything. You are Merry the Mighty!
As for me writing something new, you have something for beta in your inbox, but there's no big rush on that. There is also an attempt at crossover fic in the Fanfiction folder, and a drabble over at DW100. I also got in a comic mood and wrote a couple of top ten lists that you might enjoy. (One under "The Doctor" and the other under "The Vortex.")
Oh, and I start a new job on June 8th!

Merry--- I'm very glad that you and family weathered all this and that you're back!
Me, I might be able to start dealing with an eye pressure episode with no end in sight and raging insomnia worsening everything else, once my housing recertification and inspection is over with. It's unbelievable that someone in my state has to go through this process without someone here to help, but someone at their office is trying to make some allowances.

Hey, Merry; glad you're back! It sounds like you must have been at your wit's end; what a terrible thing to happen, and I'm just glad it seems to be over now and everyone's okay. I'm don't pray, but I'll certainly be thinking of you, and have all of my fingers crossed that they will all continue to be on the mend.
As far as things on here...well, we have new members, as you may have seen; good people, all of them. And we're currently running Battle of the Companions, which is even bloodier and more savage than the last round of Doctor v Doctor. And me? Well, I continue...a creature of habit, that's me. ;D

Oh, wow, what an ordeal! Here's hoping for a nice relaxing summer for you guys.
I've been falling behind terribly on spiffy links, I'm afraid. My spoiler paranoia has been kicking in. Even spoilers that I know, I'm hesitant to link to, because with all the whited out text, I can't tell whether or not it's already been discussed without possibly finding out about something I didn't want to. But the latest big news in the fandom is that the new companion for Eleven has been announced - did you see that?

We've never met, but hey, I'm new, and I must say I admire you already for pulling your family through such a hard time. If you hate Martha, I expect we'll have quite a few lively debates, but I am becoming acquainted with Classic Who, and perhaps you will be among those Classic fans who will help me discover episodes I enjoy. So far I've really only seen Four.

Hey, thanks one and all, and in most cases I am glad nothing much has changed (barring Magnus, I was soo hoping for a miraculous recovery on his part). Your thoughts and prayers mean more than I can convey. This past week was crazy! nyah's field day got rained out so we tried to console a group of children ranging in age from 3-6 with a movie, it failed spectacularly! However, I have learned quite a few new passive methods of restraint (I'm kidding, I only threatened to duct tape children to the wall)
Poetry, it is lovely to meet you, and yes, I am a bit anti-Martha atm, but really it's because I am rewatching the new series in order to convert a friend (mwuhahaha). thanks everyone for their kind words and now I am off to rediscover the board I have so dearly missed over the last sixish weeks of hell.

Merry you're back!! I was seriously worried when you stopped posting for a second time. There's bad things that have happened to loved ones of mine on account of pneumonia, and I was scared out of my wits that there'd been a relapse.
TACKLE!HUGS !!!
Also, you probably know this one xD (I'm convinced that with four of them you must kow pretty much every other trick in the book) but my favourite passive kid calmer-downer from my camp days was the good ol' Quiet Game. you lay them down, put a pebble on their foreheads, and then tell them that if they make a noise they lose and if their pebble falls off they lose. Then you step back and watch how childish competition makes for beautiful silence (for a few minutes anyway LOL)

I'm sure that's against the United Nations Convention on Human Rights, Clocket! ;D
Good to see you back again, Merry; I was a little concerned too, but it sounds like you were more than occupied with stuff and stuff.
A life; I have to look into getting one of those.

Merry! Glad to have you back! Heck, seeing words like pneumonia, heart monitor, and hospital is quite worrying, I hope your kids are okay now! As for classic who, I'm keeping a checklist here: dontbreakyourlegs.deviantart.com/journal/24751316/Haven't caught up much, I've been busy with exams.

I too am keeping a check list of Old Who I have watched. It's on a Microsoft word document I keep mine. Yet I keep forgetting to update it. I can never remember what I have watched. I am getting better at updating my list though. I am also keeping track opf Audio plays and books that I encounter.

Audio? I've only really listened to a couple of eight and Lucie audio plays.
And Clocket, I've finished Empty Child, but I can't find the Doctor Dances anywhere.

And Clocket, I've finished Empty Child, but I can't find the Doctor Dances anywhere. Here is a YT link to the first part of "The Doctor Dances." The guy posting them breaks an episode into really short clips, but he has the whole thing up. www.youtube.com/watch?v=y0R5pYUJFtU
