I loved "The Fearmonger" - got me hooked right away on the Seventh Doctor's audios! There's some neat gimmicky stuff going on - "LIVE 34" was one of my favourites! "Flip-Flop", on the other hand... flopped for me. Seemed like, anyway.

I've only heard a handfull of these, but so far RED is my favourite Seven Audio, which is strange... because my favourite Seven story-story is Paradise Towers. I guess I do like Mel despite all my ragging.

I like Seven's audios too! ;D But is it just me or are many of his audios quite depressing and/or darker than the other Doctors' audios.

Hmmm, someone was asking about these so I thought I'd revive the thread. Yes, to answer the long unanswered question, Seven does tend to have darker stories, though he does have his clownish moments. Seven's just like that.
this list is a bit out of date now, so I'd suggest checking out the Big Finish website or The Doctor Who reference guide for a more up-to-date version. Though, I like how this list organizes the different story arcs: Seven's audios are a bit confusing as there seem to be a few alternate visions of his continuing adventures...
(Season 26b is the Doctor, Ace, Hex line)

I got the impression that the NAs continued directly from Survival, and then years later when the BBC Books line began, they went back and started theirs from directly after Survival too, therefore, overlapping stories. I hate that.
Did the audios then go back and do the same thing? Don't we need a list with the books included?

I think that the NAs, the audios and the comics all follow completely different continuities (I mean, I think the comics killed Ace off at one point!) which are more or less impossible to reconcile with each other, and I think that this was, to some extent and for reasons known only to the people involved, a deliberate choice on the part of the various production teams.

Huh, interesting. I'm actually in the middle of listening to Night Thoughts and have only reluctantly just now torn myself away from listening. It's really good so far, but a very creepy atmosphere, and I'm sure it's going to get even scarier so I'm waiting until it's not so late at night to finish it.

Okay, I finished Night Thoughts. It's incredibly dark and grotesque and horrible and really good if that's the kind of thing you like. Which I do, so I enjoyed it. It's like Doctor Who doing Grand Guignol. There are flaws but not gaping ones and you don't really notice because the plot's so engaging. The end sent shivers down my spine. Brr.
