...Hitler was not the genius, he knew what he wanted and went for it with a close-knit, trustworthy small group of advisors, who knew hell'a lot about politics...I anything Hitler was an idiot with only ideas of charismatic representation...the smart dictator was Stalin; Mussolini was just pompous; Castro never dies; Franco ruled conservatively...Rasputin was part of a disgusting cult...

Opium actually dilates the blood vessels, lowering the blood pressure and calming down the person enough to think quite clearly...which would have been quite all right in Hitler's case, if he was not psychotic about the aryan race. On the other hand the hallucinogenics must have done a number, because those two particular drugs synergizing affect on the human body must have made him feel superhuman. Since he took it every day he must have been sick and a f***in' b*st*rd without it, because he was "cool" with it. Sorry for the cursing, no grammatical term could properly describe what he must have been like without drugs.

On a different (samish subject) Sherlock Holmes liked his Opium and he though quite clearly with it (okay, he's fictional but...)
As to political correctness, I think your words work to describe Hitler in any drugged or undrugged state. The man needed pills and a straight-jacket.

Doyle should be capitalized. I will do it for you, because I'm nice, and anyone with a knighthood should not be disgraced.

I love the books by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and, for me, Jeremy Brett's interpretation on TV is the best there is! I went on a real Sherlock kick just before getting into Who. I read about a third of the cannon short stories and the Sign of Four. Never got around to the other books, but it's definitely on my to-do list. I haven't seen much of the TV interpretations, though I was listening to the radio plays on BBC 7 for awhile. My favourite spin-off is The Great Mouse Detective, childish as that is. Basil rocks!

I've read the majority of the original stories/books at least three times over and loved Jeremey Brett as the best TV version and Basil Rathbone as the best film version.
I think you can view some of the Brett episodes on YouTube!

I loved The Great Mouse Detective! They ruined Sherlock Holmes for me when they placed him in the future, sadly, on some Saturday morning television show...>-<...idiotic generic american cartoon writers...ruin everything...'cept Nickelodeon

Urg, I hate modern cartoons. Spongebob and Dora are complete brainrot. I miss old batman with the jerky animation, and TMNinga Turtles, and Care Bears, and Magic School Bus. Maybe it was still brainrot, but it was GOOD brainrot.

Just notice where it says gun short stories in one of my other posts. I'm SURE I wrote cannon there, not gun. Weird. Yes I know about the edit button, but I think it's funny.

Dora is pointless, and so is Diego....I loved Batman, Teen Titans, TMNT, Spiderman, Pinky and the Brain, Animaniacs, and Madeline....Care Bears were high on the red berries, which was frightening to me as a child....Scooby Doo was a show of high hippies, there was something wrong with flight scenes.....Spongebob makes me sick and fear for the future of TV....but I do like Avatar, Danny Phantom, and Fairly Oddparents....otherwise, its South Park and Family Guy all the way....

And the shoes. Don't forget them. Who could possibly forget that every time we saw him, Seven always wore shoes. How utterly typical of the man, and how endearing a habit that was. Otherwise, he might have stunk up the Console Room with his smelly feret* and caused Mel to scream even more. Actual typo. I meant "feet". Sylvester of course is closely identified with ferrets, if I may say that in mixed company. Freudian posting there. PS-- I find I enjoy the habit everyone here has of referring to each Doctor simply as "Five" or "One", etc.. With "Seven" though, there's always the danger of imagining Sylvester in a silver catsuit that goes up his whatever in the back. Now excuse me while I wash my brain out with soap or something. A new brain, that's what I need. Stapling machine. Stapling machine. ***** Cartoons? (just finished thread) Ren and Stimpy, Earthworm Jim, Freakazoid, Top Cat, Futurama. I like those. I don't like Hitler. I like The Seven Percent Solution, film and book. I also hope that Hawaii doesn't bite me anywhere. Have I covered everything?
