Watched it on youtube....some coments so far: Turlough and his mate look a bit old to be at school. And the black gardian should be on some kind of register and the accents are hillarious. What era is it supposed to be? it looks like its trying to be 20's-30's. lol! and what is the black gardian wearing?!?
why didn't the doc lock the door after him so no one could wander in?
they seemed to take so long getting to the hub of the problem that by the time they'd discovered what was wrong the episode was over. tell you what I'd love to hear PD's commentary on that episode. I bet its hillarious.

I like this one. There are certainly enough surprising elements going on. It's set in the present day, which then was about 1983. The space ship with Mawdryn's Time Lords looked a lot like a luxury hotel, but I believe that everything in that story took place during either 1977 or 1983 (except for the time travelling in the Tardis where Tegan and Nyssa age and 'youth'). This is the story that people believe contradicts UNIT 'history' because UNIT stories supposedly were set in the 1980s. They never say that in UNIT TV stories though, only novelizations.
Any story with a hidden Transmat is okay by me.
KILL THE DOCTOR!!!!!!!

They do a bt don't they? XD
It's a dead bird. Don't you know they're all the rage?
The best explanation I ever heard for that is that the event of the Three Doctors left a giant temporal distortion on UNIT headquarters, so the poor people working there will never know what decade they're properly in. Alas.
Noooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love the music in this serial whenTurlough is taking the Brig's car for a spin. It's so random.

Alas. Lol, Clocket. I like this theory, it sounds surprisingly plausible. ;P I actually rather like this episode. It has the Brigadier in it, and he get's to meet another of the Doctor's incarnations, as well as his new companions, and I always like stories like that. Surprisingly, a lot of people seem to forget about this episode, particularly when they're writing fanfiction. People go off listing off all the different incarnation of the doctor that different people have known, and they always forget that 5 met the brig... although with the state the Brig's head is in... He might have just forgotten... DX
