I enjoy Alt. Rock. [Brings the thread back on topic] I was introduced to it after the Backstreet Boys broke up, and I fell in love with Linkin Park. I know Kit was a BB fan, anyone else? Or Linkin Park or LostProphets or anything like that? Oh, and if you've heard 'What I've Done' [Linkin Park's newest single], do you like it? I'm trying to decide if I like them better with or without Mike. [Referring to Mike Shinoda, the rapper, who left for his side project Fort Minor]

I'm not sure yet, the music seems so much...darker, almost. *shrugs* I need more than the one single, but I don't get their new CD until my birthday *waits patiently for August*

I've not really heard any of their earlier stuff so I can't really compare with the new single etc. I think their new song is one of the best songs around at the moment.
I love all sorts of current bands at the moment, who include:-
Artic Monkeys Amerie Armand Van Helden Calvin Harris CSS Editors Kaiser Chiefs Linkin Park Mika Scissor Sisters Snow Patrol The Fratellis The Fray The Gossip The Pigeon Detectives The Twang
My all time favourite band is R.E.M. but I think I've mentioned that before in an earlier post.

Personally I'm a 'Queen' man myself, listening to the likes of 'Bohemian Rhapsody' (best rock song in the world) and Freddie Mercury finding more inventive ways to perk up the audience and smash wine bottles with the power of his voice.
Anyway the wind blows, doesn't really matter to me...

As I said before, MY HERO! I enjoy most, if not all of them. Personally I'm a 'Queen' man myself, listening to the likes of 'Bohemian Rhapsody' (best rock song in the world) and Freddie Mercury finding more inventive ways to perk up the audience and smash wine bottles with the power of his voice. Anyway the wind blows, doesn't really matter to me...My new best friend.... I love 'Bohemian Rhapsody' and Queen, though I regrettably have none of their stuff on my iTunes at the moment...I'm too broke Backstreet Boys? Why? Did y'all also enjoy the workings of N'Sync and 98 Degrees? and 3LW and such? WHY? I was a Backstreet Boys baby, seeing as East Cleveland never heard N'Sync or 98 Degrees....I don't know why, we just never did. I only heard of them when I was starting to loose my taste for boy bands. 3LW, I only heard for the first time about four years ago, and though I kind of liked them, I couldn't find any of their music, so I didn't listen to it.

Contemplating either an AFI album or Ocean Avenue by Yellowcard(?) AFI 'cause Yellowcard is old.....*shrugs* I enjoy AFI newest album of which I forget the name....grrr....anyways, my highest recommendations go to Linkin Park's newest, Josh Groban's Awake and this band called Red.

Decemberunderground or sing for sorrow? Huh? *is confused* If they're album titles, they're probably ones I don't know. And I know Linkin Park's new one is Minutes to Midnight, so that means you're either talking about Red or someone I don't know... I suggest LostProphets too, if you're into alt.punk.rock stuff.

I have been trained to listen to the structure, tone, fluidity, composition, and overall mood of a piece, so often that I find myself complaining about the stupidity or incredible genius of composers...Because of these annoying thought processes occurring in my head, I find myself having a structured inspiration, which is rather irksome....
