Right. So I am making a small package for Clocket. (Clocket, if you are reading this, go away! Now!) I think I want to add some well written fan fiction in the package. Fun, non sexual, recent (if possible), and length not an issue. 11, 3, 9 would be ideal but I am sure she is not picky. I am not really a fan fiction person and even though Clocket is my best of best friends, when it comes to her taste of fan fiction, I am at lost. I DO know that you guys have an idea on what she likes, so... suggest! suggest! suggest! ALSO, I am going to break a rule (only because it is dead here) and go off topic but... I want Sherlock fanfiction but what I have seen ships like ever character sexually. I don't mind bits of fluff or hints that two characters may have thing for each other through humor. But I am not into romance fiction at all. Also, I DO NOT ship sherlock/john in anyway. I see them as BEST FRIENDS, the type of friendship were you do love each other like family and would do almost anything for them. IT seems that Western society has lost the idea of what friendship is. Seriously, two people can be close friends without being sexual, stop thinking that relationship deeper than acquaintance is ~LOVE~. /rantonideasoffriendship One last thing... I prefer short ones, but unless their is one hell of a good case, I will read long ones. Thanks a lot! Clocket will be thankful and I am thankful for the sherlock request.

I love the idea of including something for her. Were you thinking of stuff we wrote for Clocket specifically, stuff we wrote ourselves or just good stories we've seen floating by? If you would like a recent Threefic included, I literally just finished the last part of a series she likes - though at 41,000+ words maybe it's too long? If it seems to fit the bill, it's over here... www.whofic.com/viewstory.php?sid=45159

I was going more for what ever anyone stumbled on while floating around the universe we call interwebs. I am sure that she would love to read anything anyone had written. If she likes the one you wrote and left half way through, I am sure she will love to finish it.

I shall begin looking for you, I have rather a lot to sort through though, so it may take some time.
As far as Sherlock, I've seen a number of good non romance/slash fics, and will look through those for you as well! ^^
Is there anything in particular your looking for other than that, and are you caught up with season 2?

I am sending the package to Clocket on Friday, if you do not have enough time to sort through fanfiction, do not worry.
As for Sherlock, yes I am caught up on season 2.

Newton, I'll PM you with some Teaspoon links to things I've seen recently and thought were good. And Sherlock fandom is definitely a shipping fandom from what I've seen - there's nothing wrong with slash, as you say, but I too prefer a bit of variety. I'll see what I can dig up for you there too.

I've actually just read this story this afternoon that's rather interesting. It's actually a Sherlock/DoctorWho X-over, where apparently the Pond's live across the street and John and Rory work in the same hospital. The Doctor sort of flits in and out of it, but by the end of it, I believe that he's got Sherlock solving cases for Jenny and Vastra back in Victorian times. ^^ xover-exchange.livejournal.com/55933.html?view=738685#t738685

Thanks for the PM JJ! Awesome selection. I will be reading some too. I know what my Friday night will be!
OH! aquabluejay, this story sounds awesome! I got a lot of homework to do tonight but it will be so hard to fight the urge to start reading.
I lied. It was well written!

Does anyone have any idea of what Clocket would be interested in? Because that would obviously be helpful. I feel a bit like a blind time-chicken blundering around looking at things not knowing what she'd want...

I think she has quite broad tastes, really. She likes Three and Seven and Nine, and seems quite taken with Eleven. That's in my experience, anyway.

K then. I found this earlier this week and was quite taken with it. Despite my initial hesitation at the subject, it turns out to be surprisingly thoughtful and actually manages to develop a plot! ^^ My 2,000 Year Diary, by Rory Williams (Plastic) by Al B Dickerson: www.whofic.com/viewstory.php?sid=45322There's "Family Emergency" by Sahyia, the blurb for which I'll just leave here- "The Doctor and River's vows had been short on details, it was true, but Amy thought it was rather implied that you didn’t dump your sick husband on your unsuspecting parents and scarper off in his time machine." Contains sick Doctor being nursed by the Ponds and some pointed character development centered around River's upbringing and it's impact on her position as the Doctor's wife. archiveofourown.org/works/267371Also, that really cool alt-Inferno-universe Third Doctor fic that I believe Clocket turned me on to "Two Birds in a Cage" was updated once or twice around new years, and I don't know if she's had a chance to check up on it. www.whofic.com/viewstory.php?sid=43133Our favorite comic artist, Caycowa has also been busy in her absence and she might be interested in this: caycowa.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d4n0x63

I doubt I have anything of interest, except maybe my own fic, which is unfinished. I'd also like fic suggestions, btw. I'm interested to see if fandom is capable of producing anything that isn't Eleven/River or Eleven/Amy.

It is Mags. Anything in particular you're looking for? Newton, if you're up for a more unusual take on the wing!fic and a supporter slightly of BAMF Mrs. Hudson, you should check out this Sherlock fic. archiveofourown.org/works/138434

A Wing!fic is basically usually a fic where someone randomly has wings. Sometimes its an AU where someone's secretly a guardain angel or something. There are acutally alot of Sherlock wingfics I've recently discovered. I beleive this is probably due to how much people enjoy drawing Sherlock with great massive wings. (It does look like a great deal of fun, although I haven't got around to it.) And after seeing those pictures, you can never really get the image out of your head. They just really work for Benedict for some reason. They look pretty reasonable on John to for some reason. This is totally a screen shot of my desktop right now btw. ^-^ picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/auEGO4ocLPxfmJNoWZXgPBQfs3KDC1qgGttEDblpDy8?feat=directlink

www.fanfiction.net/s/6392965/1/Wrong_Order"Donovan is annoyed with Sherlock, and Anderson offers a chance at revenge. Their little practical joke turns out to be a bit more deadly than they intended." An interesting, short, Sherlock alergy-fic I thought I'd share while I'm going over some of my favorites.

I think you're going to need a bigger boat. Or at least, one that's bigger on the inside...
"Legs off, fins on...simple metal tube through the back of the head." "Well, you'd need a big tank..."
