I've been doing some Life on Mars/Doctor Who crossovers lateley. But... What would be your 'dream' crossover story? What ones have you written? What do you think are good genre pairings?

I've always thought Back to the Future would make a good cross-over.
I mean seriously:
The British Doctor who travels time in his bigger on the inside police box vs. The American Doc' who travels time in a flying steam train engine.

We have a flux capacitor at the Maritime Museum. Really, we do. I'll take a photo one day.

Also thinking... Magic School bus would make a good cross-over. I sear Ms. Frizzlze is a Time Lady...
yeah, could do something about her being Romana in hiding.

Have you ever read any of the stories with Iris Wilthyme? She has a big red bus....and is a time lady

Yes! Actually, my description of Wildthyme when I just learned about her was:
So she's like Ms. Frizzle crossed with the Doctor and stuck together with a few orgies?
I've been told it's pretty accurate.

I've written a few Dr. 6 crossovers with the most improbable TV shows I could think of, depicting Six as the ultimate in dangerous, uninvited guests. So far, I've flung Colin into The Prisoner (that one was extremely short... Colin shows up, McGoohan asks for ride, The End), The Sopranos, and The West Wing.

I am sure there must be a ton of these out there already, but it would be neat to see Fox Mulder splitting hairs and searching for the Doctor. I reckon it could be fairly healing for Mulder as well, to discover that not all aliens cause cancer and have weird ink spots in the whites of their eyes.

Watching some X-Files reruns lately, I realise that Agents Mulder and Scully are even cooler than I thought at the time - I'd love to see a Who crossover involving them, preferably including the villainous Cancer Man as well... For some reason, there seem to be quite a few Firefly/Who crossovers on the Teaspoon site - I couldn't agree more - two great tastes that taste great together! I actually wrote a Who/Red Dwarf crossover once. I quite liked it, anyway...

Ah, here you go: www.whofic.com/viewstory.php?sid=602 a loverly x-file cross-over, for your enjoyment. hmm... a very good deadlikeme cross-over turned up the other day. I could link you to that if you like. alas, it only takes the concept from the show and none of the actual characters.

Wouldn't it be fun to do a Doctor Who and Monty Python crossover. It would be fun to watch the TARDIS materialize in the middle of a skit, such as the Spanish Inquisition one. Not much of a plot, but it would be funny to watch.
