Um, wow, intensive research. 'Last post' would have revealed the truth. Unless... are we all Undead?!

I'm sorry....I'd been on a lot of other sites that were dead...and people just posting in the c-box's but the admin's abandoning the site.
I'm sorry about making that assumption, all right....
I didn't mean any ill intent or offense by it.

meh, we are an odd lot, to be a sure, but not dead...unless...is this a seance? Actually, Whoniverse RP, no hard feelings, but remember the best way to survive in the Whoniverse is by being observant and a bit clever (not to mention terribly lucky these last few series, eh?). Also, don't mind Newton, her bark is worse than her bite...I think...

Yes, sorry, also, as I was the first to mock. We were amused by it... and worryingly eager to be claimed as zombies, so I think that tells anyone all they need to know...

Very true, Merry - And you need a screwdriver. And maybe a towel as well, depending on whether or not it's a crossover kind of day.

One thing I have learned recently from lostspook is that in order to survive a zombie apocalypse you really, really need to make sure you've got some tinned peaches and a sailing boat. No, really.

*scribbles down advice* I have a feeling I'm really missing out by being behind on my UNIT fic reading - was it something in there? Arrgh...

*scribbles down advice* I have a feeling I'm really missing out by being behind on my UNIT fic reading - was it something in there? Arrgh... I could be Evil and nod easgerly and say 'yes' in the hope of conning you into reading them (it happens right at the END of the last one!!!) but I shall be kind and admit that I just answered the q of the day on LJ, as it happened to be 'What are your plans for a zombie apocalypse?' JJ had a Cunning and Evil plan to cause one, but I raised him my friend Belantana, a sailing boat and a tin of peaches. I had Clocket as well. Admittedly, we were on three different continents, but we are all resourceful, and aligned to the forces of light and good and all that, so he knows he doesn't stand a chance. Or, um, something.

Yeah, my lack of naval power quickly led to me shelving the plan...for now...

I read something once where the people who make breakfast cereals were trying to figure out how to take cereal beyond mere "snap crackle and pop" for excitement and make it so the milk would animate the little bits of cereal, like giving each one a tiny outboard motor to scoot around in the bowl. SO - surely there's something that could be done with, say, a tin of condensed milk and some food-oriented ingenuity of that type to restore naval power to those in defense of the world against zombies.
You know how sometimes something sounds like it makes sense until you actually type it out...?

Prim, this should be silly fic in which the Doctor has to save the world from genetically modified zombie breakfast cereal. Or something. ;D

With ref to this thread, I should point out that I ended up meeting Johne yesterday when he was on his hols in Durham and as far as I could tell, we were both alive at the time. I don't know how these evil zombie rumours get out, do you? It is only a shame we can't ALL meet up together and find out who's really dead, undead or alive, but if we tried to meet halfway or something, it'd be in the middle of some ocean, and all very awkward to work out...

Iceland. It is half way and frankly they could use our tourist dollars.

I certainly felt alive at the time. And I can further confirm that both of us can cross running water, and we weren't harmed by exposure to sunlight or holy symbols, so we probably aren't vampires either ;D
