Maybe I will have been here in the future but I don't know because I haven't done that yet? ;D You never know. No, I'm not from 51st C Brisbane, but you could have killed Tegan's descendents! ;D (Besides, Leela didn't like you and she's always a good judge of character ). As to skipping sleep, bleurh, poor you. Better luck with tonight! Lack of sleep is guaranteed to make most things worse!

Lack of sleep is guaranteed to make most things worse! 1. I never thought of that! I picked the identity of someone Leela hates! I don't want Leela to hate me! But... who wants to be Andred? 2. Especially in my case. Only long uninterrupted sleep in a pitch-black room keeps my bizarre neurological symptoms under control. Thing is, more and more I can't stand to lie there and try to sleep. Maybe it's because in the absence of input from the world, my automatic, inavoidable mental default mode is pondering my medical/life situation, everything that led to it, and every obstacle to getting out of it. Then that's what I dream about. Those are some really good sleep-deterrants. I'm off to Google "bleurh". I may be some time.

Having watched my way through that season in order, I can almost see the appeal now. You could have been Professor Litefoot, or Poul or Adam Colby - Leela liked them, too!! (Or Idas and Cordo, but quite frankly, surely you'd rather be Andred). And that all sounds very horrible - I suppose I can only say best of luck with all of that & maybe add in a prayer or two. Sounds about as not-fun as you can get. (Would thinking of Leela last thing help? )

I'm off to Google "bleurh". I may be some time. Whoops - I hope you've come back. Google may tell you I was being sick, when all I was trying to do was to express my sympathy and not finding words suitable for the nastiness of your situation, went with bleurh. Because words start getting useless at these points, so what can you do but make them up? Or is that just me?

Directionless spook-- I have returned from the snowy wilderness having searched in vain for "bleurh". Actually, I'm a lying SOB and never did any such thing. I know a nonexistant nonsense word when I hear one! That's half of what comes out of my mouth....
Andred's a sort of blank slate to me. Nothing wrong with him, but nothing really there, not onscreen anyway. I tried to firm up his personality a bit in my Leela story. I said he was witty when drunk, and then didn't provide him with any witty things to say in print, in the actual story, since I was running dry on wit apparently. That's cheating. Sorry. Someday I need to back into that story, and fill in all those witless areas.
Going by what's onscreen, the Sevateem Tomas seems like my best Leela pal to identify with, if I want to do that.

Heh, I love your version of my name! Directionless, yes, sometimes!! ;D Tomas? But she swans off without so much as a backward glance? I'd go for Litefoot - their little dinner scene was fun, and Colby gets a kiss and she wants to go back at the end. You could be the devious Calib instead. You'll find, as you see, that I have much love for ALL DW - this is an incurable trait. However, I agree entirely that Leela is truly, truly wonderful, so I think we can get by somehow!

Oh, I've always watched all Who too, and have lost myself in it for long periods, the whole fictional history.
